I’m Ed! I’ve been a dedicated Democrat my whole life. Even in my youth, I knew I would be a Democrat and help to shake things up. I’ve been fortunate to serve as CEO of Odyssey House Louisiana (OHL) since Hurricane Katrina, at a time when our community needed leadership. Over these last 19 years, my mission has been specifically to reduce poverty, crime, and deaths from addiction—my commitment to Louisiana is strong, and I show up when it counts, with resolve and results. I also served as a Super Volunteer for President Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign—one of 150 nationally—at a time when our party had begun a process of rebirth and renewal, similar to that of our beloved New Orleans.
